The beginning

The beginning

This is it! My first blog posts. Or is it? I had made this website a week ago, however it stopped working. Hopefully this time everything works out fine.

Why do I even bother writing a blog if I am very busy?

  1. A great chance to practice my English  and Latvian writing skill
  2. Allows me to document my life
  3. A chance to write structured and coherent text
  4. Trying  something new
  5. Tell everyone who is interested how am I doing

I hope that while starting out my posts will be somewhat readable and enjoyable, in either case, practicing will definitely improve it. Therefore, I have set a goal to write at least two posts per week, one in Latvian and one in English. The posts might be long or short, but at least two.

This blog will be about a variety of  topics. Including stories from my life, random research and overall what will be on my mind. I hope that no one will try and use this information against me. If someone is thinking about it remember: karma is a bitch.

I can not think of anything else important to say, therefore I am going to end this post here.

Whoever is reading this, have a great day!

Blog – moments that don't fit neatly anywhere else.

Some stories start in the workshop, others at 2 a.m. with friends, or halfway through a trip I probably didn't plan well enough. The journal is where they end up: a collection of moments that don't fit neatly anywhere else but still shape who I am. Some are quick notes, some are bigger stories, but together they're the ongoing thread behind everything I do.

Portfolio – projects and work that I am proud of and want to share.

I like building things that work better than they did yesterday, whether that’s a car that corners tighter, or a design that finally makes sense after weeks of sketching. I get a kick out of the problem-solving process, the part where messy ideas slowly turn into something real. This section is where I share that side of me: The projects that challenged me, taught me, and occasionally made me question why I ever thought engineering was a good idea. Check out my favourite projects:

Turning ideas into products that ship.

I build products that solve real problems. From AI-powered hardware to productivity tools, I take ideas from a napkin sketch to a shipped product. These are the ventures I've founded, the tools I've launched, and the projects currently in development.
